Today in our country there are two types of business centers are working to meet the needs of the consumers objective services.
1) Business centers which sell the goods.
2) Business centers which provide the services.
Capital investment and employment requirement is considerably increased in these days because of the formation of different marketing places to sell the different items and to provide the services. This also caused the hike in the cost price of goods and services. Investors, who invested more, could not attain any profits instead they obtained more losses in their business. “Higher the investment, Greater the loss”.. Is the present situation of the business industry?
Mainly the big organizations are opening their own branches at different places across the country, by believing in thousands of employees and number of machines, in which due to the unethical behavior of few employees and consumers, the big organizations have become subjected to the loss at least up to 8% as pilferage
Worldwide financial crisis, termination of lacks of employees and less financial resources even to the working employees have caused the considerable reduction in the purchasing potentials. This resulted in closing the chains of super markets belong to main group companies. Some are ready to be closed. Even the running companies are also limping at the present situation.
But the traditional small shops and kirana general stores have not lost their significance, instead gained some progress.
Many are trying to modernize and expand their small shops which have been running in the traditional way for many years, to increase their income. But we don't have in our state the adequate number of consultancy services which may guide them in a proper way. In fact we don’t have them even in our country too in a good number. Even though we have a few consultancy services, the remained unbranded which is causing irregular circumstances in the country.
The centers which can supply branded goods to the Mandal Head quarters and major Grama Panchayithies have not come yet. The same situation is prevailing in few backward towns and District head quarteRs In this type of places, nobody is coming forward to accept the agency of electronics and consumable durables goods where high investment is required.
In the same manner even in the service sector, different service organizations are not coming forward to start their services at the above mentioned places. Many people are unable to extend their services in the commodity services sector to the sub urban and backward-urban villages, because of the lack of confidence to attain full-fledged profit in their business.
But when the rural market and semi urban markets where, 70 percent of people live are transformed as proper business platforms, and if we are able to get closer to the middle class people who have the more purchasing potentials, there will be an opportunity to snatch the business in Crores.
Having above reasons in mind, the upcoming business centers must possess the below mentioned characteristics.
- Area of the business centre must be between 500-1000 sqft, and maximum place should be used.
- Capital investment must be between Rs 5 - 10 lacks.
- Must contain less number of employees, The life partner or blood relatives or very close people must be authoritative to that business centre.
- Goods and services both should be available at one place.
- Every customer should feel that their entire family needs are met at one place.
- There must be at least one local centre per 5 districts which may provide the goods and services at the earliest and capable of providing good training services to the managers & employees of the business centeRs The working timings of such centers should be 6 AM to 12 PM.
- The business centers under the local centers will be subjected to profits only when the maximum discount from the company is obtained and designing, branding, out sourcing, training, continuous supply of commodity services are offered without any interruption.
